Card Captor Sakura is the work of a women's team of mangaka (author of manga), known under the name CLAMP (クランプ, Kuranpu). Their manga are generally manga shojo (manga for the girls), but they ventured, since 2001 in the seinen (manga for the young men) and in the shonen (manga for the young boys) published among others in Young Magazine in Japan.

Ageha Okawa (formerly, Nanase Okawa) (born on May 2nd, 1967). Leader of the group, she takes care of scenarios, defines the main lines of the characters and the number of necessary pages to develop the intrigue.
Mokona (formerly, Mokona Apapa) (born on June 16th, 1968). Main draftswoman.
Tsubaki Nekoi (formerly, Mick Nekoi) (born on January 21th, 1969). Draftswoman specialized in the SD (Super Deformed: the famous small caricatures of the characters), and author of the mini-newspapers at the end of some manga (RG Veda, Clamp School Detectives, etc...). She sometimes takes the feather to make her own series (Wish).
Satsuki Igarashi (born on February 8th, 1969). She takes care of wefts and of the design of bound books. She is also an editorial writer in the magazine Newtype from Kadokawa.
